Father's Day

How was May 10th, Mother's Day, celebrated? Because Father's Day is coming up in June.

Here we tell you the origin and interesting facts about this day.

The date differs from country to country and region to region, and there are several theories about its origin, but it is said that it began in 1909 when Sonora Smart Dot, an American woman, asked an association of shepherds for a day to express her gratitude to her father for having raised her with his own hands.

In Japan it is celebrated on the third Saturday of June each year, while in Mexico it is celebrated on the third Sunday of June each year.

Each family has their own way of expressing their gratitude, but for the most part they usually give their parents' favorite things as gifts or invite them to dinner with the family to express their gratitude.

While carnations are the traditional gift for Mother's Day, yellow roses are the traditional gift for Father's Day, both in Japan and Mexico. You can also give red roses and sunflowers.

This year, FUJITAYA is offering a special Father's Day package.

Why not show your father your appreciation this year at FUJITAYA?
